We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Health and Social Care teacher for a temporary teaching role from early February to late March. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers with experience in post-16 education to support students in Years 12 and 13.
About the role

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Health and Social Care.

Teaching the OCR Cambridge Technicals (CTEC) curriculum or quickly developing expertise in it.

Assessing and marking coursework, providing feedback to support student progression.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Health & Social Care Teaching Opportunity you will:
- Qualified teacher with experience in Health and Social Care
- Strong understanding of the OCR Cambridge Technicals (CTEC) curriculum, or the ability to quickly develop expertise in it
- Experience teaching post-16 students (Years 12 and 13)
- Skilled in lesson planning, delivery, and assessment, including marking coursework
- Ability to engage and motivate students, fostering a positive learning environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Qualified teacher with experience in Health and Social Care.
- Knowledge of or willingness to quickly develop expertise in the OCR Cambridge Technicals (CTEC) curriculum.
- Experience teaching post-16 students (Years 12 and 13).
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student work, and provide constructive feedback.
