An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Catholic primary school in Wandsworth from September 2026.

About the role

Working within the Early Years Foundation Stage, you will support the class teacher in delivering a stimulating and creative curriculum while helping children achieve key developmental milestones.

You will contribute to planning engaging learning activities, support children's communication and social development, and help create a safe, happy, and inspiring classroom environment where every child can flourish.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom
• Deliver high-quality learning through play and structured activities
• Observe, monitor, and record children's progress
• Encourage children's language, social, and emotional development
• Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
• Help maintain a stimulating and well-organised learning environment
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and the wider Early Years team

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant you will:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, NVQ or equivalent) – essential
• Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
• Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Level 3 EYFS Qualification
