We are recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to support a range of fantastic mainstream primary schools from September 2026. Whether you're looking for the flexibility of day-to-day supply or the consistency of a long-term placement, we have opportunities to suit your availability and career goals.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across a variety of school settings while building valuable relationships with local primary schools.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, assisting teachers with daily learning activities and ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Support class teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons
- Work with individual pupils and small groups across the primary age range
- Help create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
- Support pupils with varying learning needs, including those requiring additional support
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Adapt confidently to different school settings and classroom routines

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Previous experience working within a UK primary school is preferred
- Experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
- A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
