About the school
This ‘Outstanding’ Primary Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) school, based in Plumstead are looking for a dedicated, highly adaptable, experienced and energetic practitioner to work with pupils with Social, Emotional and Behavioural difficulties. You will be supporting Primary School pupils This full-time Teaching Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent. The successful candidates will be supporting mainstream schools in dealing with challenging and difficult behaviour – providing expert support in helping pupils get back on track. The successful candidate will assist teachers with the process of changing a child’s behaviour and giving professional advice are looking for a dedicated, highly adaptable, experienced and energetic practitioner to work alongside pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. With comprehensive training, mentoring and support from our experienced SEMH Outreach Team, the successful candidate will work across many primary schools across the Greenwich Borough to support children with identified behavioural needs. You will have the chance to use your skills in a brand-new way, stretching your talents and supporting the children that need help the most.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Outreach SEMH TA you will:
- Full Driving License

- Supporting pupils within Primary Schools in Greenwich borough displaying challenging behaviour
