About the role
- Teaching Assistant required full time to start, September 2024
- Supporting a range of mainstream special educational needs pupils (aged 11 to 16)
- Working closely with the SENDCo to support implementation of any individual Education Health Care Plan (EHCP)
- Combination of in-class support and small group interventions across the week
- Participate in annual review meetings with parents when required
- Main SEND requirements here are Autism (ASC) and Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) – experience supporting pupils in these areas is desirable but not essential

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant (Independent Secondary School) you will:
- • Experience supporting pupils in a mainstream or special needs setting / transferable setting

- • Passionate about supporting children with barriers to learning
