We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Economics to join a high-performing and ambitious secondary academy.
About the role
- Teach Economics across KS4 and KS5, ensuring high standards of attainment and progress
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and well-structured lessons
- Develop students’ understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and real-world application
- Support students in developing exam technique and analytical writing skills
- Contribute to curriculum planning, resources, and departmental development
- Monitor, assess, and report on student progress in line with school policies
- Use data effectively to inform teaching and targeted intervention
- Support students through enrichment activities, revision sessions, and exam preparation
- Contribute to the wider life of the school as required

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Economics Teacher you will:
- Experience teaching A-Level Economics
- Ability to contribute to Business Studies teaching
- Familiarity with current examination specifications (e.g. AQA, Edexcel)
- Experience supporting students from diverse backgrounds
- Evidence of strong examination results and student progress outcomes
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
