Teach Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology, RE) across KS4–KS5, delivering engaging, well-structured lessons. Assess and track student progress, support attainment, and contribute to curriculum planning. Maintain high expectations for behaviour and engagement, collaborate with colleagues, and support enrichment and wider school life.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Social Sciences to join a forward-thinking department from September 2026. You will deliver engaging lessons in Psychology, Sociology and RE, inspire curiosity, support student progress, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on high-quality teaching and learning.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Teacher of Social Sciences (Psychology, Sociology & RE) you will:

  • A strong classroom practitioner with a record of positive student outcomes
  • Confident teaching Psychology, Sociology, and/or RE
  • Collaborative and able to build strong professional relationships
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated
  • Committed to raising attainment and inspiring learners
  • Passionate about student wellbeing and holistic development
  • Reflective, adaptable, and committed to professional growth

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • QTS
  • DBS on Update Service
