Smart Teachers are working with a large, high-achieving secondary school in Haringey to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher
About the role
- Teaching General Science across KS3 and KS4
- Opportunity to teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at KS5 for suitably experienced candidates
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote curiosity and academic progress
- Using assessment and data effectively to identify gaps and support student achievement
- Contributing to curriculum planning, practical investigations, and departmental resources
- Supporting intervention strategies and exam preparation for GCSE classes
- Promoting high standards of behaviour, engagement, and scientific literacy

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Science Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge across Science disciplines
- Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to mixed-ability learners
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
