Smart Teachers are working with a large, high-achieving secondary school in Haringey to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher

About the role

• Teaching General Science across KS3 and KS4
• Opportunity to teach Biology, Chemistry, or Physics at KS5 for suitably experienced candidates
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote curiosity and academic progress
• Using assessment and data effectively to identify gaps and support student achievement
• Contributing to curriculum planning, practical investigations, and departmental resources
• Supporting intervention strategies and exam preparation for GCSE classes
• Promoting high standards of behaviour, engagement, and scientific literacy

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Science Teacher you will:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge across Science disciplines
• Ability to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to mixed-ability learners
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
