Smart Teachers are recruiting for a passionate and inspiring Teacher of Music to join a forward-thinking secondary school in East London from September 2026.
About the role
- Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Supporting students in both practical and theoretical music development
- Contributing to performances, showcases, and enrichment activities
- Playing a key role in the continued development of the Music curriculum

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Music Teacher you will:
- Strong subject knowledge and passion for Music education
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
- Committed to continuous professional development
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable teaching experience
