Music Teacher

Smart Teachers are recruiting for a passionate and inspiring Teacher of Music to join a forward-thinking secondary school in East London from September 2026.

About the role

• Teaching Music across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Supporting students in both practical and theoretical music development
• Contributing to performances, showcases, and enrichment activities
• Playing a key role in the continued development of the Music curriculum

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Music Teacher you will:

• Strong subject knowledge and passion for Music education
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
• Committed to continuous professional development
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Open to both ECTs and experienced teachers

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Suitable teaching experience
