A forward-thinking secondary school is seeking a passionate English Teacher for a 1-year maternity cover starting in April, with flexibility for an earlier start. There is potential for the role to move from temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
About the role
You will teach engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience welcomed but not essential), inspiring students to develop strong literacy, analytical, and critical thinking skills. You will work closely within a collaborative department focused on high standards, positive behaviour, and excellent outcomes. Suitable for experienced teachers and confident ECTs.
