Smart Teachers are working in partnership with a well-regarded and forward-thinking secondary academy in Essex to recruit a permanent Science Teacher for April 2026.

About the school
The school welcomes applications from teachers of all Science specialisms (Biology, Chemistry or Physics). The role would suit an experienced practitioner seeking progression or a fresh challenge, as well as a motivated ECT looking to develop within a structured and supportive environment
Requirements
To be considered for the role of Science Teacher you will:
- Hold QTS (or be completing training leading to QTS)
- Have strong subject knowledge
- Demonstrate high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Be committed to contributing to a collaborative department
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Suitable teaching experience
