We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term supply position in Northolt, starting January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting pupils’ learning and development within a stable school setting.
About the role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support teaching and learning across the school day. You will provide in-class assistance, work with small groups or individual pupils, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who is reliable, proactive, and able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
Key Responsibilities

Supporting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management

Working one-to-one or with small groups of pupils

Assisting with the implementation of learning activities and interventions

Supporting pupils with additional needs where required

Helping to maintain a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment

Providing feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and engagement

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Primary Teaching Assistant you will:
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential
- A patient, supportive, and proactive approach
- Commitment to a full-time, long-term placement from January 2026
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- Previous experience working as a TA
- Right to work in the UK
